All of the sudden, the Cincinnati Bengals are right in the thick of the AFC North race.
With their Thanksgiving win over the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers falling to the Buffalo Bills, the Bengals have a real shot to win their division if they win out to end the 2025 season.
When speaking to the media on Monday, head coach Zac Taylor gave injury updates on Trey Hendrickson and Tee Higgins.
For Hendrickson, Taylor says he will be doubtful for Sunday’s game at Buffalo.
Hendrickson has not played in five weeks due to hip and pelvis injuries. There haven’t been many updates on Hendrickson, aside from Taylor essentially ruling him out every Monday. There were rumors that Hendrickson was trying to put off surgery, but with his uncertain future with the team, some are questioning if Hendrickson is sitting out.
Taylor also spoke about wide receiver Tee Higgins, who is still going through concussion protocol.
One would think Higgins could return Sunday, given that it would be 14 days after he suffered the injury, but the play where Higgins was concussed was a very hard fall on the Paycor Stadium turf. Hopefully, Higgins is doing well and can return to action.
The Bengals are essentially playing playoff football from here on out, so hopefully their stars can get back on the field soon.
