We are heading to the final fifteen minutes of play at Lumen Field in Seattle, and your Minnesota Vikings trail the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 19-0, which could just as well be 119-0 with the way the purple are playing this afternoon.
Seattle got the ball coming out of the locker room at halftime, and they added more points to their lead as Jason Myers connected on his third field goal of the day. This one was a 54-yarder to extend the Seattle lead to 16-0.

On the ensuing drive, Max Brosmer made his best throw of the afternoon, hitting T.J. Hockenson down the seam for a big 29-yard gain into Seattle territory. That was immediately followed by a loss of yards by Aaron Jones and an incompletion to make it 3rd-and-14, and then Brosmer hit Jones on a checkdown where Jones got tackled from behind and fumbled, with the Seahawks recovering for another Minnesota turnover.
The Seahawks then slowly pushed the ball down the field and into Minnesota territory again, and once again positioned Myers for another field goal attempt, this one a 40-yarder, to attempt to add to Seattle’s lead once again. Myers was good once again, making the score 19-0 with just over three minutes left in the third quarter.
The Vikings once again moved the ball into Seattle territory, but Brosmer threw a pass that was too high for Jalen Nailor and was intercepted by Coby Bryant for yet another Minnesota turnover and keep them off the scoreboard thus far.
As we move to the fourth quarter of play, the Seahawks are looking at a first-and-ten from their own 42-yard line.
It’s going to take a minor miracle for the Vikings to even look competent at this point, ladies and gentlemen, as they’re down 19-0 to the Seattle Seahawks with no signs of life being shown anywhere. Come on in and join us for the final fifteen minutes of play in this one anyway, won’t you?
