The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks have issued their final injury reports with injury designations in advance of their Sunday afternoon matchup at Lumen Field. Here they are:
Minnesota Vikings
- LT Christian Darrisaw, Knee/Foot, QUESTIONABLE
- LG Donovan Jackson, Ankle, OUT
- QB J.J. McCarthy, Concussion, OUT
- OLB Jonathan Greenard, Shoulder, QUESTIONABLE
- S Theo Jackson, Neck, QUESTIONABLE
- S Josh Metellus, Knee/Shoulder, QUESTIONABLE
- DT Jalen Redmond, Hip, QUESTIONABLE
For the Vikings, J.J. McCarthy is out so Max Brosmer will get his first start, John Wolford will be the backup, and presumably Desmond Ridder will be the emergency third quarterback if he’s active for the game.
Donovan Jackson being out means Blake Brandel will be up at left guard. Christian Darrisaw being questionable means he may play, but for how long and how well?
I suspect Jonathan Greenard will play given he was close last weekend and probably Theo Jackson as well. My guess is that Josh Metellus will try to play through some pain again this Sunday and Jalen Redmond too. Redmond’s injury apparently came in practice this week as he wasn’t initially on the injured list, which isn’t a good thing, but hopefully he’ll be able to go on Sunday.
Seattle Seahawks
- RB George Holani, Hamstring, OUT
- DE Rylie Mills, Knee, OUT
- S Ty Okada, Oblique, QUESTIONABLE
For the Seahawks, all their starters will be available on Sunday- only three backups with injury designations, above, so probably not real impactful either way if Okada plays or not.
