The Los Angeles Rams (9-2) open Week 13 as -10.5 favorites on FanDuel over the Carolina Panthers (6-6) in Week 13 of the NFL season, and for the uninitiated, 10+ points spreads in the NFL are rare, and typically hard to cover.
However, given that the Rams just smoked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by double digits in Week 12, it’s not all that surprising to see L.A. heavily favored in Week 13, especially given that Panthers disappointing showing against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Panthers have had some stellar moments this year and they were 6-5 going into Week 12, but falling to 6-6 should be disheartening for the franchise and shows their inconsistency, but if they beat the Rams on Sunday, then they are back in it like they never left.
If you bet on the Panthers, look at your options and bet wisely.
For the Rams, they are the consensus best team in the NFL, and Matthew Stafford seems favored to win MVP, there’s still plenty of games to go, but going into Wee 13, there are probably worse teams to bet on than the Rams.
