The Detroit Lions will try to get back on the winning side on Sunday after dropping three of their last four games. Detroit is currently on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, but they could climb as high as the three seed this week, should all of the Week 12 games fall the right way. There is plenty of season left, and the Lions are still playing at a relatively high level.
But that means no slipping against teams they should beat. The 2-9 New York Giants certainly fall under that category. While they have pulled off a couple upsets and nearly bagged a few more, the Giants are not a great team. They’re arguably on their third-sting quarterback, they’re missing their top running back and receiver, and their defense is highly vulnerable despite a strong defensive front. For a Lions offense that is still searching for an identity and some consistency, the Giants are a great team to get back on track.
So during the first half of the Lions vs. Giants game, stick right here and discuss everything that’s happening on the field. Feel free to also share some thoughts about the other NFC North teams, who are all in action in the 1 p.m. ET window. And when Lions vs. Giants moves to halftime, be sure to head back to the front page to be on the lookout for the second half thread.
