Random Ramsdom: Seattle has some players who may turn the tide

Unlike last year, the Seattle Seahawks have DeMarcus Lawrence, Cooper Kupp and Nick Emmanwori on their roster, will they be a major difference and factor on Sunday? Will any of those three (or all three) be a reason that Seattle comes out on top on Sunday? I am picking the Rams, but I know Seattle […]

I am picking the Rams, but I know Seattle can win and I won’t surprised if they do. In fact, given how good Seattle’s roster is (I think the Rams have more experience in big games), Seattle may be able to win this game handedly, but I think it’ll be close, but you never know, and some of the new faces that Seattle has could make all the difference.

It’s Saturday! Hope you had a nice Friday, enjoy your Saturday, and Sunday is coming.

“Divisional rival games are weird. In part, divisional rival games are fun because they are weird. It turns out playing twice a year gives teams so much information on each other that nearly anything can happen on any given night.

When the Seattle Seahawks play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, it will be the 56th time the two teams have faced off in regular season. It’s 28-27 Seattle, for curious folks.

But these Seahawks have never faced these Rams with the three particular advantages they now possess. It’s a layer of newness to a rivalry that’s been brought back to the forge of sports-hate since the two have become powerhouses once again.“

G’morning, mate: Rams’ Australia game could have early local kickoff (sportsbusinessjournal)

“The date and time of the Rams’ game in Melbourne next season has yet to be announced, but it will likely be played on either Friday, Sept. 11, or Saturday, Sept. 12, and will begin locally at 10:00am “so the match can be broadcast into US prime time,” according to Andrew Webster of THE AUSTRALIAN. The 16-hour difference between Melbourne and the east coast of the U.S. means the game would take place at 6:00pm ET the night before (either Thursday, Sept. 10, or Friday, Sept. 11). Rams G Steve Avila said, “We’ve never played that early before. … If we do play at 10am, that would be historic; it will be a different experience for us.”

“Jackson has been named in a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by a Philadelphia woman. The unnamed plaintiff alleges that Jackson “recorded her without her consent during sex” and then refused to delete the video despite repeated requests that he do so, as detailed by ESPN’s Paula Lavigne. The NFL declined to comment on the matter, deferring to the 2024 suspension. Jackson’s agent also declined comment.“
