The New York Giants are once again searching for a new head coach, their fifth full-time head coach since letting Tom Coughlin go in 2015.
Since that time, the Giants have been through full-time head coaches Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and now Brian Daboll. They have had interim head coaches Steve Spagnuolo for four games replacing McAdoo in 2017 and now Mike Kafka taking over for Daboll.
Can Kafka, getting his first opportunity to be a head coach after interviewing for several open jobs the past three offseasons, earn the job? Will the Giants look for an experienced head coach? A first-timer? An offensive-minded coach to continue molding rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart? A defensive-minded head coach to fix their under-performing defense?
Right now, all we know is that Daboll is gone, Kafka is the interim coach and that GM Joe Schoen still has his job — for now — and will begin the process of identifying candidates to be the coach next season.
Big Blue View will have all the candidates, rumors, news, interviews and the eventual hiring for you right here.
Stay tuned!
