Tennessee Titans Mock Draft: Titans on track to take Rueben Bain Jr. at No. 1 overall

The Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 draft and, as of this writing, find themselves lined up to pick first again in 2026. At this stage of the rebuild, Tennessee simply needs to take top-end talent, almost regardless of position.

  • Major needs for the Titans  — defense and offensive playmakers: The Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 draft and, as of this writing, find themselves lined up to pick first again in 2026. At this stage of the rebuild, Tennessee simply needs to take top-end talent, almost regardless of position.
  • The Titans need more dynamic weapons on offense: Ranked 27th on the current PFF Big Board, KC Concepcion would be an ideal complement to the big-bodied Elic Ayomanor, whom Tennessee selected in the fourth round of the 2025 draft. In 2025, the Texas A&M receiver has racked up 40 receptions for 629 yards and eight scores and has forced 10 missed tackles after the catch.
  • The 2026 NFL Draft season is approaching: Try PFF’s best-in-class Mock Draft Simulator and learn about 2026’s top prospects while trading and drafting for your favorite NFL team.

For many fans, the writing is already on the wall for their teams’ seasons, and it’s time to look to the future. That means getting an early look at the 2026 NFL draft class, and PFF is here to help. Each week we’ll take an early mock-draft focus on two new teams, starting with the Tennessee Titans, whose current record would have them picking first overall.

This is not meant to be a predictive exercise — we aren’t close to knowing the actual draft order — but rather an introduction to expected team needs and potential targets. Think of it this way: this is the one series you can afford to wait on for your team, because the longer it takes for them to appear, the better they are performing on the field this season.

Round 1, Pick 1: EDGE Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Bain has developed into an unstoppable, do-all edge defender, carrying on the rich legacy of the institution he represents. His 93.9 overall grade ranks No. 1 among all edge players in college football and is buoyed by his pass-rush prowess. Through nine games he has amassed five sacks and 50 total pressures, and his 37.4 win rate on true pass sets ranks fifth in the country.

Round 2, Pick 33: WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M

The Titans need more dynamic weapons on offense, and Concepcion would provide exactly that. Ranked 27th on the current PFF Big Board, he would be an ideal complement to the big-bodied Elic Ayomanor, whom Tennessee selected in the fourth round of the 2025 draft. In 2025, the Texas A&M receiver has racked up 40 receptions for 629 yards and eight scores and has forced 10 missed tackles after the catch. His quarterback has a passer rating of 122.7 when targeting him.

Round 3, Pick 65: CB Chandler Rivers, Duke

Tennessee traded cornerback Roger McCreary to the Rams prior to last week’s trade deadline, and he represented the only Titans cornerback this year with an average coverage grade. Rivers uses his natural speed and athleticism to be a menace at the catch point, having already forced eight incompletions in addition to his interception against Illinois in Week 2.

Round 4, Pick 101: LB Jake Golday, Cincinnati

Golday has been an outstanding all-around player for the Bearcats this season. His elite run-defense grade of 89.2 ranks fourth among all draft-eligible linebackers, and his 78.5 coverage grade ranks 11th.

Round 6, Pick 179: RB Terion Stewart, Virginia Tech

Stewart would bring a bruising presence to a Titans backfield that is currently missing one. His 5.32 yards after contact per attempt ranks second among draft-eligible backs, and he has forced a ridiculous 33 missed tackles on just 63 carries.
