The New York Giants looked ready to snap their three-game losing streak in snowy conditions at Soldier Field on Sunday, but a fourth-quarter rally from the Chicago Bears turned a promising afternoon into another heartbreak. The Bears scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes to defeat the Giants, 24–20, in Week 10.
The Giants led 17-7 late in the third quarter and 17-10 entering the fourth quarter but could not hang on.
Veteran Russell Wilson took over but couldn’t sustain the offense, and Chicago took advantage. Caleb Williams led back-to-back touchdown drives late in the fourth, including a 2-yard pass to Rome Odunze and a 17-yard scramble to the end zone that gave the Bears their first lead since the opening quarter.
The Giants’ final drive stalled near midfield, sealing their fourth straight loss and dropping them to 2–8 on the season. The Bears are 6-3.
First half
Chicago opened the scoring with an 8-yard touchdown run by Kyle Monangai, but Dart answered quickly with a 3-yard keeper to tie the game. A late 32-yard field goal from Younghoe Koo put the Giants up 10–7 at halftime.
Second half
Dart struck again early in the third quarter, breaking free for a 24-yard rushing touchdown to extend the lead to 17–7. The Bears chipped away with a field goal, and Koo added another to make it 20–10. But once Dart exited with a concussion likely sustained when he fumbled while running, Chicago capitalized — Williams finding Odunze and then scoring on his own to complete the comeback.
