Defensive Player of the Week: LB Austin Romaine, Kansas State
Romaine was all over the field for Kansas State against Texas Tech this week, earning PFF grades above 80.0 as a run defender, a pass rusher and a coverage defender. He finished the game with nine tackles resulting in a defensive stop, three pressures and an interception.
Offensive Line of the Week: Florida
Despite the team’s loss to Georgia this week, Florida’s offensive line had a solid day. Four of their five starting offensive linemen earned 67.5 PFF pass-blocking grades or better, and they combined to allow just two pressures from 31 pass-blocking snaps.
