It’s Saturday, there’s plenty to do, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times! Have the combination of Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams arrived? They are heading into Sunday coming off of connecting on two touchdowns last game, can they do it again?
We’ll have to wait and see.
What we do know is, if Adams and Stafford can connect in the redzone consistently, look out NFL.
The Rams are 5-2 heading into Sunday, with a chance to get even better. Not a bad place to be. Please comment away, enjoy your Saturday and thanks for checking out our website!
The Looming Question Facing the Rams vs. the Saints (si.com)
“Unsurprisingly, the Los Angeles Rams are heavily favored over the New Orleans Saints. These are two teams on opposite spectrums of the NFL. The Rams are gearing up for another deep playoff run to give Matthew Stafford a shot at another Super Bowl in his twilight years. Meanwhile, the Saints are in the midst of a long rebuild.
In an effort to embark on a new winning era, New Orleans elected to bench second-year pro Spencer Rattler in favor of rookie quarterback Tyler Shough. Shough didn’t show much in his first taste of NFL action. Now, he’ll be thrown to the wolves against Jared Verse, Byron Young, and the rest of LA’s mean pass rush.“
Rams vs. Saints injury report: LA gets good news on star WR on Thursday (ramswire)
“Los Angeles, once again, listed offensive tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle), cornerback Darious Williams (shoulder) and safety Kamren Kinchens (toe) as limited. Wide receiver Puka Nacua (ankle), who had been limited on Wednesday, was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday.
Nothing really changed for the Saints. Running back Alvin Kamara (ankle), running back Devin Neal (ankle), wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (hip) and cornerback Alontae Taylor (shoulder) were listed as limited again. Defensive lineman Davon Godchaux was added to the report as a non-participant, but it was for a veteran’s day off, not an injury.“
World Series: SoCal native, Marine veteran sings National Anthem for Dodgers, Rams (foxla.com)
“LOS ANGELES – Iraq war veteran Elliott McKenzie has been singing all his life, but says he really leaned into his talent after serving in the Marine Corps.
“When I got out, I ended up turning to music as a form of therapy for PTSD and I ended up homeless for a little bit when I got out and music ended up saving my life and turning my entire life around,” said McKenzie.“
