The Cincinnati Bengals have wrapped up a week’s worth of practice in their preparations for Sunday’s tilt with the Chicago Bears. The last game before their bye week proves to be a must-win if they are going to right the ship and get back to the postseason.
With several injury concerns, the official injury report to close the week gives us a better look at what players may miss Sunday’s game.
Quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) is listed as questionable, but told the media on Friday that he feels good and all but said he was playing. It will be interesting to see how Flacco’s shoulder holds up when he gets hit, but it seems like he is going to give it a go.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) was again in street clothes Friday and was listed as doubtful on the injury report. The team will need to find pass rush from the likes of Myles Murphy and Shemar Stewart on Sunday with Hendrickson sidelined.
Linebacker Logan Wilson (calf) was not seen at practice at all on Friday. He is also listed as doubtful, and with the trade deadline on November 4th, the Bengals are reportedly open to trading Wilson. It is very possible that we have seen Logan Wilson in a Bengals uniform for the last time.
Guard Dalton Risner (illness) is questionable, as is Oren Burks (groin), who was a new addition to the injury report.
Cornerback Marco Wilson (hamstring) is also doubtful.
For the Bears, they will be down one of their top weapons, as running back D’Andre Swift (groin) was ruled out for Sunday. Also ruled out were running back Roschon Johnson (back), wide receiver Luther Burden III (concussion), and defensive end Dominique Robinson (ankle).
