The Cincinnati Bengals may have hit a turning point in the worst of ways on Sunday—not only for their 2025 campaign, but as a franchise. After holding a two-touchdown lead for parts of the game and into the middle of the fourth quarter, Paycor Stadium’s attendees were left stunned, as the New York Jets left The Queen City with an inexplicable 39-38 win.
Cincinnati fell to 3-5, with this latest debacle coming against a winless opponent. The defense had zero answers for what was supposed to be a struggling New York offense, making it appear as if the Bengals offense needs to once again score 40 points a game to ensure a win.
Can the Bengals recover from this loss? Is the season salvageable? What about the futures of certain coaches?
John and Anthony discuss it all at 6:45 pm Et on Monday in this edition of the Orange and Black Insider’s Aftermath. Join us live or listen afterward on your favorite platform!
