Going into this week, I knew that most of us would have a sad outlook for the team going forward, but being someone who must be a fan of punishment, I asked the following usual questions for the week:
What are your predictions for this coming Sunday’s game between our Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Falcons? Additionally, please share with us which player(s) you would steal from the Falcons to place on the Phins roster.
Below are some of your thoughts and answers-
Molly Polly II has a blowout coming and wonders if we could just swap rosters.
Prediction…41-13 Falcons.
Hmmm…I was thinking all of them, from the owner on down.
FLexile has the Dolphins with the upset, but also with another frustrating post-game presser.
Falcons have 5 turnovers, Miami edges them 21-17. McDaniel says “umm” a bunch of times in the post-game news conference. Misery prolonged.
TheRoo1 likes them big boys along the line.
Take their fattest ballboy, and plug him into our Oline, guaranteed upgrade.
phinette23 is going to steal a Bijan and has the Phins dropping this one by at least three scores. Let’s call it 4 scores, as this team can’t pull off three 2-point conversions.
Steal me some Bijan Robinson please.
Prediction- 34-10 with Tua having another multiple turnover outing. Sad.
I Hate Sports hates sports and yet here we are. Also has Tua looking like a ____ out there again.
Tua will have more turnovers than TDs.
Dolphins will have a promising drive early that will be killed by a penalty/sack and result in a FG.
After that, the game will get out of hand.
31-10 Falcons, 7 points coming in garbage time for the Phins.
SlayerNation1 has a new team tagline going forward. They should print this on the outside of the season ticket renewal letters.
ATL 38 MIA 13
finally, Kevin Harlan deigns to call a Dolphins game … or is being punished by CBS
Bijan is nice and works well by being complemented by Algier and an athletic QB.
Kirk Cousins is asked to earn some of His money in garbage time.
Waddle – will be writhing on the carpet at some point.
Pick Six on a Tua bubble, teams may start triple teaming Achane, and be wise to do just that.
Tua & Mike’s little spat continues, very publicly.
Come for the football, stay for the dumpster fire.
cyberflea is going to address the OL first. I nominate cyberflea for the next Dolphins GM based on that fact alone.
Player to steal – Pairing Achane with Bijan Robinson would be one of the best RB tandems in the NFL. However, with the problems on the Dolphins OL, I would have to pick RG Chris Lindstrom. One of the best interior offensive linemen in the NFL and still in his is prime at 28 years old.
Prediction – The Falcons will easily control the tempo of the game on offense with the run which will open up their conservative passing game against a weak Dolphins secondary. Bijan Robinson averages 5.4 yds per carry and could surpass 150 yds rushing against the worst run defense in the NFL.
Dolphins only hope is containing the Falcons running game under 100 yds and that is not going to happen. The game is indoors which helps the Dolphins passing game however the OL struggles protecting Tua who crumbles under pressure. Mistakes and penalties continue to haunt one if not the worst team in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins.
Falcons easily beat the spread sending the Dolphins home with another embarrassing loss.
Atlanta Falcons win – 34-17
Alpha6 says it’s easy.
The steal is easy… Bijan Robinson!
Prediction is easy… a Miami loss… 31 to 10.
USMCFinzFreak has the Dolphins showing out in garbage time, so we at least have that to look forward to.
Bijan Robinson
A 35-17 blowout. Miami gets 7 points in garbage time.
Dolfanjoe has the Falcons doubling up on the Phins.
falcons 32 Miami 16
Who to take ? Robinson would be nice !
finfanfromsiam really is asking too much!
Any OT who can block? Predict 31-13……..
Well, that’s our takes for this week. I hope most of us are wrong, but I assume we won’t be. Thank you to each of you who took the time to particpate in our question of the day post. Please be sure to join us tomorrow for our Dolphins @ Falcons live thread.
