We’ve made it to the bye week and are nearing the halfway point of the 2025 NFL season. Hopefully, you’re doing better than the 2-5 Las Vegas Raiders in our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition, as the Week 8-10 range is typically when the contenders start to separate themselves from the pretenders!

Last week was a rough one for me, as I got a little too bold by picking the Jacksonville Jaguars over the Los Angeles Rams on top of getting burned by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans. Also, I went 0-4 on the primetime games, while Bill and Ray each went 11-4 in Week 7. That allowed Bill to increase his lead over me to three games, and Ray narrowed the gap for second place. To dive into my coach speak, this one’s on me; I gotta be better!

We have another co-leader with JeepRaider putting together an impressive showing by only getting two games wrong last week to tie EdgarEdm08, Tennessee Raider Fan and Pick’em Pro. Also, the competition within our community is extremely close, seeing as 13 people are within three games of the lead. Finally, a big shoutout to Darth Raider for only getting one game wrong in Week 7!
