The Cincinnati Bengals got back into the win column on Thursday night when Joe Flacco led the team to an upset win over Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.
Now, the 3-4 Bengals go into a two-game stretch of games they should win before their bye week. Their first matchup in that stretch is at home against the winless New York Jets.
The Bengals are looking to get back to .500, and the Jets are looking to get their first win of the season. FanDuel Sportsbook believes it’ll be the Bengals that come out on top, as they’re almost favored to win by a touchdown at home. They have the Bengals favored by 6.5 points, and the over/under is set at 43.5 points.
The Jets benched quarterback Justin Fields in Week 7 in favor of veteran backup Tyrod Taylor. While head coach Aaron Glenn hasn’t decided who will get the start in Cincinnati in Week 8, Jets owner Woody Johnson sure makes it sound like it won’t be Fields.
Hopefully, the Bengals’ offense can pick up where it left off last week as the defense continues to get its feet under it, regardless of whether it’s Taylor or Fields at QB.
