Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ rookie class fared in a 31-0 loss
Ashton Jeanty:
The No. 6 overall draft pick was on the field for 63 percent of the Raiders’ snaps. This game got out of hand early, so the running game was kind of thrown away. Jeanty had just six carries for 21 yards. It was a rough game for everyone.
Jack Bech:
For the third straight week, the second-round pick played a big role. he logged 63 percent of the snaps at Kansas City. He had two catches for 13 yards on two targets. He should get more opportunities as this lost season progresses, especially if No. 1 wide receiver Jakobi Meyers gets traded.
Darien Porter:
The cornerback, taken in the third round, played 13 defensive snaps and 12 on special teams in Week 7.
Caleb Rogers:
The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, was inactive for the sixth time in seven games.
Charles Grant:
The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, was active for the third time because Kolton Miller is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a high-ankle sprain. He logged his first offensive snap of the season Sunday.
Dont’e Thornton:
The wide receiver, taken in the fourth round, had seen dramatically seen his play time dwindle. He played just two offensive snaps in Week 6. But with Meyers out with an injury, the fourth-round pick from Tennessee played 85 percent of the snaps. He was targeted three times and didn’t have any receptions, but he had two catches wiped out by penalties. He doesn’t have a catch in the past four games and has five on the season. We will see if he continues to play more after the bye week.
Tonka Hemingway:
The fourth-round pick was inactive for the fifth time this season.
JJ Pegues:
The defensive tackle, taken in the sixth round, was inactive for the fifth time this season.
Cody Lindenberg:
The seventh-round pick played no snaps on defense is a core special teamer and he played 95 percent of the snaps on special teams.
Carter Runyan:
The undrafted free agent tight end played the past four games. He played five snaps on offense and caught his first career pass, for three games. He also played 13 snaps on special teams. It will be interesting to see if he will be active when starting tight end Brock Bowers is expected to return in Week 9.
