The Detroit Lions are looking to bounce back after a tough Week 6 loss, but a strong Tampa Bay Buccaneers team stands in their way. The former NFC Central foes have had a little bit of a rivalry going as of late. Back in 2023, the Lions beat the Bucs twice—once in their own home, the next time in the NFC Divisional Round. Last year, Tampa got their revenge by handing the Lions one of their two losses of the season—and in Ford Field, too.

Given how competitive all three of those games were, it’s no surprise the NFL chose to put this year’s bout on “Monday Night Football.” This week features a double-header on “Monday Night Football,” which alters the start time of the normal primetime start. But with the second game pushed all the way to 10 p.m. ET, the Lions will get the initial stage all to themselves.

Here’s how to watch Buccaneers vs. Lions on “Monday Night Football.”

When is the Buccaneers vs. Lions?

The game is on Monday, October 20, 2025, and kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. This is earlier than a normal “Monday Night Football” game because it’s game one of a doubleheader.

The game is being played at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan

How can I watch Buccaneers vs. Lions live?

Is there a ManningCast for Buccaneers vs. Lions?

Nope, not this week. Remember, Lions vs. Buccaneers is just the first of a “Monday Night Football” doubleheader. The Seahawks/Texans game starts at 10 p.m. ET, but it also does not have a ManningCast.

Is the game playing in my area?

Yes! It’s a nationally-televised game.

Can I stream the game?

Yes! If you are a local Lions fan, you can watch the game on NFL+ with a subscription or for free via the Detroit Lions app. It’s also available on the ESPN app with a subscription.

Who are the TV announcers for Buccaneers vs. Lions?

The Lions are getting the primary “Monday Night Football” crew: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge.

The game is also on a national radio station: Westwood One. The announcers on that station are Kevin Harlan and Devin McCourty.
