Joe Flacco was exquisite in his second game starting for the Cincinnati Bengals, leading them to a 33-31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in primetime, just a week and a half after being traded from the Cleveland Browns.
So after head coach Zac Taylor awarded Flacco (among others) a game ball, the team decided to teach him the “Who Dey” chant.
Watch as Orlando Brown Jr. leads the cheer.
Now, of course, Flacco, who has played against the Bengals 22 times, probably knows the chant already.
But it’s a little different hearing it when you’re on the same side.
Others to receive game balls were Jordan Battle, DJ Turner, Evan McPherson, the o-line, Chase Brown, and Ja’Marr Chase.
It was an outstanding effort for a number of players, some of whom had been struggling mightily on an offense that was out of sync.
But thankfully, the Bengals offense is humming again with Flacco at the helm.
Watch our one-minute recap of the huge divisional win.
