The New York Giants, as usual, will be the underdog when they take the field in Week 7. The Giants travel to Colorado to face the Denver Broncos, and FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Giants as 7-point underdogs in the early line.
The 2-4 Giants are coming off their biggest regular-season victory in quite some time, having defeated the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles 34-17 on Thursday night. Since rookie Jaxson Dart became the starting quarterback the Giants are 2-1 with victories over the Eagles and Los Angeles Chargers sandwiched around a disappointing loss to the previously 0-4 New Orleans Saints.
Both of those victories came at MetLife Stadium. On the road, the Giants turned the ball over five times in losing a game they had an opportunity to win after jumping to a 14-3 lead. Perhaps the next step for the Dart-led Giants is to win a game on the road, or to at least put together a cleaner, better performance than they did against the Saints.
The 4-2 Broncos are tied with the Chargers for the AFC West lead. They are coming off a narrow 13-11 victory on Sunday in New Jersey against the 0-6 New York Jets.
The Giants are +280 on the money line, per FanDuel, with an over/under of 40.5 points.
