Some notes
- Kansas City’s Friday injury report is excellent. Every player listed is reported as a full participant in practice. No Chiefs player has been given a game designation, either. This means everyone is good to go for Sunday night’s game.
- This includes wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder/ankle), who did not participate in Thursday’s practice after being a full participant on Wednesday. It appears that the team was merely giving him a rest day — but since he was (and is) receiving treatment for his torn labrum, his Thursday absence could not be shown as a rest day.
- Three players on the Lions’ roster have been declared out for the game in Kansas City: starting cornerback Terrion Arnold (shoulder), reserve linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring) and reserve running back Sione Vaki (groin). All of them did not participate on Friday.
- Defensive lineman Alim McNeill (knee) has also been declared out, but he is currently in the 21-day practice window for a return from the Reserve/Injured list. While he was a full participant in all of this week’s practices, he has not yet been activated to the roster.
- Starting cornerback D.J. Reed was placed on the Reserve/Injured list before the Week 5 game. Special teams defensive back Khalil Dorsey joined him there this week.
- Three Detroit starters have been listed as questionable for Sunday: left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), Kerby Joseph (knee) and defensive back Brian Branch (ankle). All of them did not participate in Friday’s practice.
- Three of the Lions’ reserves were also shown as questionable: offensive lineman Giovanni Manu (knee), defensive back Avonte Maddox (hamstring) and wide receiver Kalif Raymond (neck). Manu and Maddox did not participate, while Raymond was limited.
- Starting wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (wrist) was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. He is good to go for the Chiefs game.
