Week 5 of the NFL season ends this evening with a MNF game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite the first quarter of the season being a bit odd, no one had the Jags coming into this game as the team with the better record as a selection on their bingo card, and yet here we are. The Chiefs dropped their first 2 games of the season to the LA Chargers (27-21) and the Philadelphia Eagles (20-17). KC has since rebounded, winning their last two games over the New York Giants (22-9) and the Baltimore Ravens (37-20).
The Jaguars kicked off their season by defeating a team that the Miami Dolphins somehow could not, the Carolina Panthers, 26-10. Jacksonville’s only loss thus far this season came in Week 2 to the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati, 31-27. The Jaguars have since won two more games in a row, defeating the Houston Texans at home in Jacksonville 17-10 and the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California, 26-21. Are they in line for the upset this evening? Some talking heads seem to believe so, but we shall see.
