The Cincinnati Bengals have officially squandered their 2-0 start, dropping all three games since backup quarterback Jake Browning took over for Joe Burrow, who remains sidelined with a turf toe injury. The Bengals managed 21 points in the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Lions, but have still been outscored 113–37 over that three-game stretch.
And things aren’t getting any easier. In Week 6, the Bengals head to Lambeau Field to take on the 2-1-1 Green Bay Packers.
After opening the season with wins over the Lions and Commanders, the Packers have cooled slightly — losing to the Browns in Week 3 and tying the Cowboys in Week 4. Coming off their Week 5 bye, they enter this matchup well-rested and heavily favored.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Packers opened as 14.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at 43.5. Those numbers could shift if Cincinnati makes a change at quarterback, but for now, oddsmakers seem confident: Green Bay is expected to use the Bengals to get back in the win column.
