The Indianapolis Colts (2-0) announced on Saturday that both cornerback Charvarius Ward (concussion) and tight end Tyler Warren (toe) have been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday afternoon’s divisional game against the rival Tennessee Titans (0-2):
Having missed last weekend’s win against the Denver Broncos after experiencing concussion symptoms after Week 1, Ward was a full participant in practice all week with the final step being officially clearing the protocol.
Ward’s return will be a big one for a Colts defense that looked pretty pedestrian last weekend against the Denver Broncos, as he should better solidify the team’s CB1 role once again—especially with veteran Xavien Howard having struggled last weekend.
Meanwhile, Warren did not practice on Wednesday, but was a limited participant on both Thursday and Friday.
The expectation has been that Warren would be available for Sunday, but the Colts have been taking it easy with their highly promising rookie tight end. He has 11 receptions for 155 total receiving yards in his debut season.
The Colts enter Sunday’s game very healthy, as there are no injury designations listed on their injury report right now—which means they’ll be at relative full capacity for an early season divisional road matchup.
