Feel like this Philadelphia Eagles versus Los Angeles Rams game goes one of two ways:
- The Eagles’ passing offense continues to struggle as a super motivated Rams team dominates the day.
- The Eagles’ passing offense get back on track like they did with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers late last season.
Considering that the Eagles simply do not lose when Jalen Hurts is starting (16-0 in the last 16 games he’s started and finished), it’s pretty hard to pick against them.
But it’s also hard to feel great about their offensive outlook after what we’ve seen through two weeks. It feels like they’re simply too talented for these issues to continue to plague them on a weekly basis. A.J. Brown’s production is going to pick up in a big way sooner than later, right?
It also feels like Saquon Barkley is due for some of those big runs he had last year. And what better team to do it against than the one he absolutely ran wild on in two games last season?
Maybe I’ll regret feeling like this is the week that the Eagles’ offense will get right. The Rams’ defense has been tough. They have a really good defensive line.
But my biggest possible regret would be thinking that the Eagles, who simply always win, will lose.
