It’s time for everyone to, once again, get four fingers high above their heads. Yes, we’re moving to the fourth quarter at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with your Minnesota Vikings absolutely throttling the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 48-3.
The Bengals got the ball coming out of the locker room at halftime after deferring on the opening coin toss. Minnesota’s defense picked up where they left off, forcing a quick three-and-out from the Cincinnati offense. The Vikings’ offense then put together a nice, long drive, traveling 74 yards in 10 plays and capping things off with Jordan Mason’s second touchdown of the day. He went over from four yards out to make it 41-3 with six minutes left in the third quarter.
The Vikings then forced yet another Cincinnati turnover as Jake Browning threw yet another interception, this one into the arms of Josh Metellus. The Vikings turned that into more points, as Wentz found T.J. Hockenson for his first touchdown of the season. It was a 5-yard pass from Wentz to make it 48-3 as the third quarter came to an end.
It’s a blowout in Minneapolis, ladies and gentlemen, as the Vikings are leading the Bengals by a score of 48-3 at U.S. Bank Stadium. Come on in and watch the final quarter with us, won’t you?
