New York Giants star left tackle Andrew Thomas is unlikely to play Sunday when the Giants face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. Thomas has not played since suffering a Lisfranc injury in Week 6 of the 2024 season.
Thomas was listed as doubtful on the final injury report after practicing on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday. Thomas was held out of Wednesday’s fully-padded workout.
The Giants’ offensive line struggled in a 21-6 Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders. If he does play, it’s unknown how sharp he will be or how many snaps he could be expected to play, but his presence on the field would be a welcome sight for New York.
If Thomas does not play, James Hudson would be at left tackle for the Giants.
