OK, it’s that time of the year and that time of the week again.
With the start of the NFL season, we’re going to continue our tradition of prediiitng every Las Vegas Raiders’ game during our Saturday morning links posts.
Las Vegas opens the season and the Pete Carroll, Geno Smith and Ashton Jeanty (pretty impressive list of newcomers, right?) Sunday at the New England Patriots. Kickoff is set for 10 am. PT.
I thin this is an interesting matchup between two evenly matched teams both entering their first game with a new coach as Mike Vrabel takes over in New England.
Week 1 games are always difficult to figure out and they’re usually unpredictable.
While the Patriots are about a field-goal favorite, I’m going to go with the visitors in a game close that should go down to the wire.
Raiders 20, Patriots 17.
