Another season, another year of Madden simulations.
If this is your first with Pride of Detroit, keep your Saturday mornings open for the next 19 weeks (hopefully more). Because before college football kicks off, I’ll be live streaming on our Twitch and YouTube channels our weekly Madden Simulation streams.
How it works is relatively simple: I’ll fire up a game of Madden 26 on my computer, stream it live, adjust the lineups based on the latest injury news, and run a simulation of the Detroit Lions’ upcoming game. Throughout the virtual game, I’ll be there providing live commentary, answering any of your Lions questions, and very likely mocking the Madden video game throughout the entire show. We’ll also run polls and gamble Twitch channel points for our live audience to make it an interactive experience.
It’s silly, it’s fun, and I don’t know why, but it’s really easy to get emotionally involved in the outcome, despite it being a dumb video game. It only lasts about 90 minutes, so drop in, see if you like it, and if you do, come hang out with us all season long. But be forewarned, in past years Madden has done the Lions dirrrrrrty. For example, last year’s virtual Lions went 7-10, just barely missing their actual record of 15-2. So if you’re swinging by expecting to celebrate a virtual win… you may want to replan your Saturday.
Regardless, here’s how you can join us!
