The team signed ex-Atlanta Falcons linebacker Nate Landman on a small one-year deal, but the veteran has already established himself as a leader in the locker room. He’ll be the Rams’ green-dot linebacker and relay plays from defensive coordinator Chris Shula to the rest of the team and was also named one of the Rams’ captains ahead of Week 1.
Landman, who was an undrafted player out of Colorado in 2022, called the captainship “one of the coolest accomplishments in my career.”
