Week 1 of the NFL season is here. The Cincinnati Bengals will be taking on the Cleveland Browns for the right to start the season (1-0).
The Bengals have a stellar offense led by Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins that will be looking to start the season strong against a talented Browns defense led by Myles Garrett.
However, both of these teams have serious question marks coming into the season. For Cincinnati, we have to see if Al Golden has been able to turn things around for this defense that struggled just a year ago. Fortunately, he will have Trey Hendrickson out there after he and the team agreed on a raise for 2025.
Cleveland’s issue is an all but too familiar one. The quarterback position doesn’t have a clear answer. They are trotting out Joe Flacco as the Week 1 starter, but rookie quarterbacks Dillion Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are likely to see action at some point this season. The offense as a whole just seems to be lacking a lot of talent at most positions with a few bright spots here and there.
