I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the New York Giants are playing this week.
The Giants will take on division rival, and NFC runner-up, Washington Commanders this Sunday at 1pm at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
Before that happens, we have just one question for you: Do you think the Giants will beat the Commanders?
The Giants have a terrible record in Week 1, going 3-12 since 2010, with their three wins being against the Carolina Panthers (2010), Dallas Cowboys (2016), and Tennessee Titans (2022). Can they reverse the trend and start the season on the right foot?
The Giants are, as of this writing, 6.5-point underdogs on the road. On the other hand, they only lost to Washington by a combined 8 points in 2024.
- Will they shock the NFL world with a convincing win of a touchdown or more?
- Could they just edge out the Commanders by a field goal (or less)?
- Will it be a close and competitive loss of a field goal (or less)?
- Is it going to be yet another Week 1 blowout?
Well okay, I fibbed. We actually have two questions for you.
When the Giants take the field on Sunday, it will have been 245 days since they last played a regular season game. Over that period, we saw the coaching staff and front office largely retained, free agents like Russell Wilson, Paulson Adebo, Jevon Holland, Chauncey Golston, and James Hudson III signed, and the 2025 draft class added.
After free agency, the draft, the off-season program, training camp, and the preseason, are you confident that the Giants are headed in the right direction?
