The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced they’ll be wearing their Kelly Green jerseys for the following three games during the 2025 NFL season:
- Week 8 – vs. New York Giants (October 26, 1:00 PM, FOX)
- Week 12 – at Dallas Cowboys (November 23, 4:25 PM, FOX)
- Week 18 – vs. Washington Commanders (TBD)
You’ll notice that these are all NFC East matchups. That’s a smart decision by the Birds, who are undefeated in their throwbacks since they brought them back as an alternate jersey two years ago. They beat the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills in 2023 and the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys in 2024.
Speaking of Dallas, the Eagles will be able to take Kelly Green to AT&T Stadium since the Cowboys often prefer to wear their road white jerseys while playing at home.
With NFL teams now permitted to wear alternate jerseys up to four times per season, three Kelly Green games means the Eagles will only have one all-black uniform game (at most). Maybe they’ll save that for their Week 11 home game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football? We’ll see.
In non-Eagles jersey news, the NFL announced the new “rivalry uniforms” for the NFC West and AFC East this season. The Eagles aren’t due to get their version until 207.
