The Giants have reportedly already begun paring down their roster, cutting wide receiver/kick returner Montrell Washington.
A 26-year-old who appeared in 15 games with two receptions for the Denver Broncos in 2022, Washington was a star in the early portion of training camp. He had three catches for 60 yards, including a 29-yard catch and run in Week 1 of the preseason against the Buffalo Bills. He finished the preseason with seven catches for 105 yards, an average of 15.0 yards per catch. Washington returned two punts for 12 yards (6.0 yards per return) and one kickoff for 25 yards.
