The Miami Dolphins have released their initial depth chart of the 2025 preseason ahead of their meeting with the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Miami and Chicago will also hold a joint practice on Friday as both teams prepare themselves for the start of the regular season in September.
Miami and the Bears kickoff at 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday. The game will be televised on NFL Network for a national audience while in Miami, CBS will have the coverage.

The offensive side of the depth chart is below. Liam Eichenberg and Darren Waller are included on the chart, but are both on the physically unable to perform list.

The offensive side of the ball did not provide many surprises. Ifedi and Myraick could quickly move up the depth chart, but they are relatively new additions to the roster, so they fall to the bottom of the tackle and tight end depth chart, respectively. At tight end, Hill ahead of Brown and maybe even Conner might seem like a surprise given how Hill performed last year, but this summer he seems to be playing better and could work himself into a roster spot.

The most interesting piece of the depth chart for the Dolphins is trying to figure out how Jaelan Phillips, Robinson, and Chubb are going to be aligned and on the field. In this chart, there are 12 starting positions, and the Dolphins seem to be aligned in a 4-3 instead of their previously used 3-4 front. Grant should see plenty of playing time, working primarily as a defensive tackle, even if he gets listed as a 3-4 defensive end. Everything else seems to make sense, but the Dolphins need to address the cornerback position soon.

Again, not a lot of surprises. I believe Stonehouse eventually claims the kicker/punter top spots on the depth chart. Hill and Waddle listed on the punt return depth chart is interesting but nothing something most of us want to see regularly.
