The head coach is being patient while two key players try to get healthy.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been fortunate enough not to have faced a major injury to a key contributor (yet).
However, as head coach Zac Taylor recently revealed, the team is working through injuries to starting right tackle Amarius Mims, cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, and others.
Zac Taylor said they’re “managing” multiple players, including Amarius Mims, Cam Taylor-Britt and a few others.
Mims has had a wrap on his right hand/wrist over the past few days. https://t.co/VfcBSnGl8v

Mims appears to have suffered some sort of hand injury. Taylor-Britt, meanwhile, was seen earlier this week breaking up a red-zone pass to Ja’Marr Chase. So his injury is a bit more of a mystery.
And the other players haven’t been named.
Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and they’re all ready to go for the opener.
In other news, the defense has been absolutely on fire this week.
We talked about their success in slowing down Joe Burrow and the offense in the video below.
