Jaylen Waddle earns the orange jersey award during Miami Dolphins training camp.
As Miami Dolphins training camp rolls on, the team continues to take the field in white and aqua jerseys for practice. Well, all except for one player per practice who is recognized for outstanding performance from the previous session — that player wears orange.
Who was donning the orange threads at Wednesday’s training camp session? The man with the coolest touchdown celebration in the entire National Football League — wide receiver Jaylen Waddle!

Waddle becomes the first wide receiver to receive the orange jersey award for the Dolphins this offseason and just the second pass-catcher (tight end Tanner Conner wore orange during the team’s minicamp sessions) to receive the designation.
Waddle is looking for a “get-right” season after a down year in 2024 in which he caught just 58 passes for 744 yards and two touchdowns — all of which were career lows for the 26-year-old. Of course, a healthy Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback would go a long way towards Waddle accomplishing his goals in 2025.
