Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 7/28/25
Terrance Ferguson spoke about his habits of watching tight ends like Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews and even San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. Ferguson explained that he can learn some of the moves the other active tight ends around the league do, and Ferguson feels confident in his ability to match some of those skills physically.
I go back and forth, I could see Ferguson having a big year, I could see him having a quiet year, but it does seem that he’ll have more than one season to show off his skills, and it’s going to be interesting to see how he develops with the Los Angeles Rams.
In the meantime, comment on whatever you want and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
Rams Rookie Doesn’t Hesitate to Compare His Game to Travis Kelce (sports.yahoo)
“The new TE option, however, doesn’t just scrutinize Kelce.
“There’s other guys like Mark Andrews and George Kittle that are workhorses,” he pointed out. “You can learn something from a wide receiver out here on a release. You can learn from everybody, so I try to pick a little bit of everything but I would say definitely Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews.”
Sounds like Ferguson is also observing Davante Adams and Puka Nacua when it comes to releases and route running.”

Davante Adams reliving his Las Vegas Raiders nightmare with Los Angeles Rams (sports.yahoo.com)
““This is f****** pathetic, bro,” Adams said in the clip. “Just throw the f****** ball, man! F***. Tired of this f****** bull****.”
“I gotta get the f*** outta here before I lose my f****** life,” he added. “I ain’t never been hit so many f****** times in my career. Every game, I get f***** up.”
Adding to that, Adams also admitted he had signed off on Garoppolo’s benching for then-rookie Aidan O’Connell.
“Well, my opinion on that was that I signed off on that, and that’s just the reality of it,” Adams said of Jimmy G’s benching in the Netflix show. “You know, I love Jimmy and he’s a great guy, but something had to happen in order for us to have a chance down the stretch and in order for me to remain a Raider, in all honesty.”
Garoppolo was cut by the Raiders in 2024 and latched on with the Los Angeles Rams as Matthew Stafford’s backup, a role he still has. Adams, meanwhile, was traded to the New York Jets last season but has since landed with the Rams.”
