Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 7/25/25

It’s only training camp, and we still have some time before the NFL season, but training camp opening up means that the NFL season is on the way! That’s a fact. So, enjoy the training camp stories, hope that no one gets injured and enjoy this final stretch of time before the Los Angeles Rams kick it into full gear.

Once the season starts, the only way out is through, so again I say enjoy this downtime. As fast as the season goes, it sure can have some lengthy stretches, and those stretches of time more or less depend on how your team is doing. At least, that’s what I think.

Anyways, welcome back training camp!

Los Angeles Rams Camp Day 1: Biggest Takeaways And Highlights (labfnetwork)

“The Los Angeles Rams kicked off their training camp Wednesday, giving exclusive access to premium Season Ticket Members and providing an early look at the team’s potential for the upcoming season.

A significant headline from day one was starting quarterback Matthew Stafford working away from the field due to a lingering back injury. Rams Head Coach Sean McVay clarified that Stafford’s absence was planned and aimed at ensuring he feels as healthy as possible before returning to practice next Monday.”

Puka Nacua Picks Up Rare Technique as Davante Adams Takes Command of Rams Drills (essentiallysports)

Puka Nakua‘s latest practice session was perhaps his best yet! He is one of the Rams‘ top receivers. Last season, he had 79 catches for 990 yards and scored 4 touchdowns across 11 games in 2024. But no matter how impressive one is, there is no harm in learning. And this year, the Rams# 12 just had a golden opportunity. He is eagerly excited to team up with his power player teammates and gear up for action in the preseason. But before that, he seems very proud to have learnt one skill from his teammate.”

Puka Nacua’s Classy Reason for Asking Davante Adams to Lead Rams’ Drills Has a Caveat (si.com)

“The only problem with this arrangement—leading the drills meant Nacua was not in good position to learn from Adams.

“I’ve asked Davante to lead our position group drills,” Nacua told reporters on Thursday. “… I have a huge amount of respect for his game and I’m blessed to be able to be around great people like [Cooper Kupp] and to have Davante come in. Also, when I was in the front I was like, I’m trying to sprint as fast as I can so I can turn around and watch him. So I was like, ‘Hey, I think it’ll make my job a little bit easier if you just go first.’”
