Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 7/24/25
I am of the opinion that DeSean Jackson helped the Los Angeles Rams win their Super Bowl in 2021, but the former NFL wide receiver was talking about this topic not too long ago, and according to Jackson he has a hard time wearing that ring because Jackson had left the team before they made it to the final game of the season.
Look, he was still on the team, he made some plays, he practiced with the boys, and no, it didn’t work out but I do think that all should count for something, and I’d have no problem with him taking pride in the big win, but I also get where he’s coming from. He was on the team, but he wasn’t there the entire journey, and this isn’t a Robert Woods situation (who was hurt during that season), Jackson left the team to pursue other opportunities.
DeSean Jackson Reveals Why he Refuses to Wear His Rams Super Bowl Ring (athlonsports)
“Except the L.A. native never wears the only NFL championship bling he’s gained. He shared to Keyshawn Johnson in the “All Facts No Brakes” podcast why that is.
“It’s a bittersweet situation,” Jackson began.
Then he dove into the real reason why he never places the ring on any of his fingers.
“I ain’t even play in the game,” Jackson reminded.
That’s because “D-Jax” never truly finished out the ’21 season with the Rams. He got shopped as a trade asset midseason. The Rams never found a trade suitor and Jackson eventually got released. He finished out that season with the Las Vegas Raiders.”
So, what do you think? If you were Jackson, would you wear the ring? I saw some commenters talking about this in one of the videos I watched, so shoutout those random commenters.
Let us know your thoughts, or keep them to yourself, I get it. Either way, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

“But also, just to clean up the picture for Matthew Stafford. His ability to put the ball anywhere gives me a lot of confidence that I can run a route and put my foot in the ground anywhere and know that I’m going to be in the right spot. So, the lateral quickness and the ability to move people – whether it’s at the line of scrimmage or at the top of the route – has been something that I’ve been trying to work on.”
