How much stock do you put into this as a Bengals fan?
Cincinnati Bengals fans always stand up for their quarterback, and Joe Burrow has been playing at an MVP level for three of his first five seasons. He hasn’t won the award yet, but he has been close. It seems like only a matter of time before Burrow wins an MVP.
The most memorable aspect of the Bengals beating the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17 of the 2021 season is that Ja’Marr Chase’s performance proved he’s truly one of, if not the game’s best wide receiver. Bengals fans now finally got to watch their star players make the highlight reels.
One award, though, has not come often to the Bengals in the last 10 seasons. That is All-Pro selections, where the Bengals rank dead last with just seven All-Pro selections in the last 10 seasons.

Kansas City and the Baltimore Ravens are first and second on this list at 39 and 37, respectively. That’s not surprising, considering the success both teams have had in recent seasons. The organizations at the top of this list are well-established, name-brand organizations that have sustained success for extended periods.
The Bengals broke through in 2021 and followed up that season with another AFC Championship appearance in 2022. Now, they need to get back to the big stages of the NFL.
Part of what makes All-Pros is recognition. If the Bengals make the NFL Playoffs, they will have multiple players considered for All-Pros. That’s why this season is so important.
