On the Rich Eisen Show, Quentin Lake wholeheartedly said that the Los Angeles Rams can win the Super Bowl
Quentin Lake revealed on the Rich Eisen Show that he has no doubt in his mind that the Los Angeles Rams can win a Super Bowl this season, especially given how close L.A. got just a year ago when losing to the eventual champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Divisional Round.
As successful as last season was, the Rams defensive back expects that this 2025 team should be even better, so when Eisen asked Lake point blank: “Can you win the Super Bowl this year?”, Lake responded confidently and instantly:
“For sure. 100%. No doubt about it. You look at our team from top to bottom, you look at what our team did last year, and nobody thought we were gonna get to that point, and really nobody thought we were gonna put up a test against…the Super Bowl winners. We stay healthy, we do what need to do, you know, we’ll be right in the mix.”
Surely, Lake knows that winning the final game isn’t easy, but I don’t think he comes off as flippant or cocky about the goal that he and the Rams have set out. If anything, I admire his belief in the organization and in himself to get the job done. That winning attitude is exactly what fans want to hear from an NFL franchise heading into a season, and if Lake is any indication, the entire team believes they can bring home a second Lombardi under Sean McVay.
In July, everyone thinks their team can win the Super Bowl, though I agree with Lake as I too think the Rams have a legitimate shot to win it all, and I don’t think that’s a spicy take. Anyone who watched the Rams last year should think they have a chance to win it all this year. Will it happen?
They’ll need to handle the San Francisco 49ers, the Eagles and so many more, but what’s wrong with speaking something positive into existence? Someone has to win the Super Bowl, why not the Rams?
It’s overall a tremendous interview by Lake as his personality and character shine, but the part that the fans really want to know about is, how are the Los Angeles Rams going to do this year and can they win the Super Bowl?
According to Lake, yes, they can.
