Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 7/11/25

A writer for another Los Angeles Rams site (Ramblin’ Fan), Bret Stuter, posted a fun article about how ChatGPT “thinks” the Rams offensive might do in 2025 and apparently, the A.I. is pretty high on the team. You can check that out below.

Artificial intelligence is here whether we like it or not and I suppose we might as well have fun with it. If you’ve seen any Terminator movies then you know as well as I do one day the A.I. will be having fun with us.

Until then, we enjoy today because it’s Friday. Have a great weekend and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

ChatGPT is very positive over the Los Angeles Rams offense in 2025 (ramblinfan)

“At the prompting of another FanSided writer, I dared to address the chances of the Rams offense performing well in 2025 by employing the aid of ChatGPT. To get my answer, I had to prompt the AI aide with 3 questions/clarifications. They were:

How well will the Los Angeles Rams’ offense perform in 2025?

Matthew Stafford will still be the quarterback. Cooper Kupp is no longer with the Rams

The Rams will go with wide receivers Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, and Davante Adams. The team has added rookie WR Konata Mumpfield, rookie TE Terrance Ferguson, and rookie RB Jarquez Hunter

And so, the stage was set. What would ChatGPT spit out? I was eager to find out.

The output was expansive, covering wide receivers, rookie TE Terrance Ferguson, rookie RB Jarquez Hunter, overall offensive identity, and concluding with a final assessment for 2025 that included this summary:

“Overall, if the rookies step up and the offensive line can provide decent protection, the Rams could have a top-10 offense in 2025, capable of competing in the NFC West and beyond. The combination of Staffords leadership, Adams elite skills, and a developing supporting cast gives the Rams a lot of potential.”

Matthew Stafford’s Final Season? Biggest Questions For The Los Angeles Rams In 2025 (lafbnetwork)

“This question likely won’t be answered publicly until the offseason. However, Matthew Stafford himself will know before anyone else. It might be a final bruise that makes him decide, or it could be the feeling after hitting a certain accomplishment this season.

All signs point to him playing out the season no matter what (barring injury), but if he decides this is his last rodeo, he will likely decide quietly as the bullets fly down the stretch. While fans likely won’t get the answer up front, they might get some heavy hints to the point that it will be almost assuredly guaranteed that Stafford will be on his way out after the season.”

Rams’ McVay Offense Dominates Recent NFL Offensive Rankings (si.com)

“The Atlanta Falcons, under the direction of former Rams assistants Raheem Morris and Zac Robinson come in ranked ninth after Drake London had a career year, breaking the 100 catches and 1,000 yards mark for the first time in his career. Bijan Robinson looked like the most prolific running back in a McVay offense since Todd Gurley as Robinson transitioned Atlanta to a more one-back system instead of splitting carries like how they once did under Arthur Smith with running back Tyler Allgeier.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are running it back with former Rams’ offensive coordinator Liam Coen’s offense, hiring Josh Grizzard in-house to maintain the work Coen did with former Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield, allowing Mayfield to have his best year as a professional.”
