PFF offensive line rankings have Rams in the middle
Do the Los Angeles Rams have a top-10 offensive line? Not according to ProFootballFocus. In PFF’s offensive line rankings going into the 2025 season, the Rams were seen as league average, checking in at 15th overall. The article mentions Alaric Jackson, but the writers didn’t seem to even realize that Jackson is in danger of missing the start of the season, if not more time than that. L.A. signed D.J. Humphries as insurance in case Jackson misses significant action.
But PFF made no mention of Humphries, most likely because the writers did not do that much research before posting despite being a “smart football” website.
The Rams re-signed Alaric Jackson in free agency after he earned a career-high 78.4 PFF overall grade in 2024, which ranked 18th among all offensive tackles.
His efforts and elite run blocking from Kevin Dotson and Rob Havenstein should make this unit good enough in 2025 to allow the Rams’ offense to reach its potential.
The Rams return three offensive line starters from 2024, including left guard Steve Avila, right guard Kevin Dotson, and right tackle Rob Havenstein. If Jackson returns, that would make four returning starters and the only change would be Coleman Shelton at center.
But even Shelton has prior starting experience for the Rams.

This unit has excelled under offensive line coach Ryan Wendell and figures to be even better in 2025 if all five starters are healthy. PFF didn’t rank them in the top-10, but also didn’t seem to even know who the five probable Week 1 starters are. The Rams definitely could have a top-10 offensive line in 2025, if not top-5, and that’s why Matthew Stafford and Kyren Williams could have even better seasons in 2025 than they had in 2024.
