Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 7/5/25
Hall of Fame running back, Jerome Bettis thinks the Los Angeles Rams are a good corner or secondary piece away from being something special, and he could be right. I am a fan of “the Bus”, and I hope he’s onto something when he says that his former teams has the tools to be pretty good this year.
Before he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jerome Bettis was with the Rams, and he was a good player with the Rams, but for whatever reason he didn’t stay with them and the rest is history.
The Rams did end up with an RB by the name of Marshall Faulk, so as good as Bettis was, it’s not like things didn’t work out for the the franchise.
My hope is you had a great holiday, please comment on whatever you want and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
Hall of Fame RB says Rams are one piece away from being ‘really, really special’ (ramswire)
“They have a great quarterback,” Bettis said. “They’ve got some really, really outstanding receivers. The running game is going to be solid. They’re maybe a cornerback away, an impact secondary guy away from being really, really special. When you’ve got a really good coach and a good quarterback, you’re going to be in the conversation. So yes, the Rams will be a really good football team this year.”
Hall Of Famer Picks NFC Rival As Eagles Biggest Threat (si.com)
“Now, it’s Philadelphia’s time to go for history. But, it’s not going to be easy. The Eagles suffered some losses this offseason. They obviously aren’t the only team who lost pieces, but Philadelp hia’s losses have been pretty big. Plus, it doesn’t help that there are teams around the NFC that have added big pieces. For example, the Los Angeles Rams went out and landed Davante Adams.
Los Angeles pushed the Eagles harder than pretty much every other team last year. Los Angeles is going to be good once again in 2025 and Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis said he thinks its is the team to beat in the NFC West and is “built” to beat the Eagles in an interview with RG.org’s DJ Siddiqi.”
