Duh.
The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for the 2025 season and looking to get back into the postseason after missing it by a thin margin last year.
The Bengals have added numerous new pieces and retained multiple guys of their own as well this offseason.
One constant remains… Joe Burrow.
Burrow has made it clear that all he wants to do is bring a Super Bowl back to Cincinnati, and every season he is healthy, I fully believe he can.
Since Burrow was drafted in 2020, he has put up incredible numbers and truly put Cincinnati back on the NFL map.
Pro Football Focus is also a believer in Burrow and his numbers back it up…
PFF recently released their QB rankings going into the 2025 season, and Burrow is among the top guys in the league.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes comes in at number one, followed by Burrow in the number two spot.
“The only real knock on Joe Burrow is that he hasn’t entered a season at full strength in years. But when he’s right, there may be no one better. Burrow’s 93.5 passing grade and 95.2 overall grade over the past three seasons lead all quarterbacks, and his 51.3% success rate over that span ties Josh Allen for second-best in the league. If the Bengals can field even a league-average defense, Burrow would give them a real shot at winning the AFC every year,” PFF wrote.
Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and then Jalen Hurts round out the top five, which is the exact order of top five quarterbacks that I agree with.
