Were Los Angeles Rams snubbed on ESPN’s ‘All-Century Team’?
Aaron Donald is the only long-term member of the Los Angeles Rams who earned a spot on ESPN’s “All Quarter Century Team”, which was co-created by Seth Walder and Aaron Schatz. Donald is an obvious choice at defensive tackle, but did ESPN overlook any not-so-obvious options who spent their career with the Rams, such as Cooper Kupp, Todd Gurley, and Andrew Whitworth?
Bobby Wagner was the only other player on the list who spent even part of his career with the Rams, while Wade Phillips was listed as the Defensive Coordinator of the All-Century Team, which is most likely a longevity award.

There was no mention of Kupp, Whitworth, Gurley, or Matthew Stafford. Not even Von Miller made the list.
WR – No Kupp
It’s really not that surprising given how much time Kupp missed during his Rams career. ESPN listed six receivers on the 53-man roster with two more (Antonio Brown, Andre Johnson) on “the practice squad”.
LT – No Whitworth
He was not even put on the practice squad despite one of those spots going to Jordan Mailata.
EDGE – No Miller
Remarkably, Von Miller is not even on the practice squad.
CB – Jalen Ramsey on the practice squad
Ramsey didn’t make the 53-man roster but was on the practice squad.
S – No Eric Weddle
L.A.’s only savior here is Donald:
Donald is certainly the greatest defensive tackle of the past 25 years and possibly the greatest in NFL history. His 20.5 sacks in 2018 set a single-season record for a primary defensive tackle, while his career total is second among defensive tackles (since 1982) behind John Randle’s 137.5.
