Davante Adams is thinking the Los Angeles Rams is exactly what he needed, and for the Rams Adams could not have come at a better time. After L.A. moved on from Cooper Kupp the question was what would Les Snead and Sean McVay do to address that hole?
Enter Adams.
We’ll see if Adams turns out as successful as fans the franchise are hoping, but I am not sure there was a better available wide receiver on the market to combine with Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua.
Again, we have to see it come together, but as of right now, no reason to be down in June. As Adams said, “no dark clouds”. Fans can hope for sunshine and big plays until otherwise.

Davante Adams feeling ‘rejuvenated’ after joining Rams: ‘It’s been exactly what I needed’ (nfl.com)
“It’s been exactly what I needed, feeling rejuvenated and really, really enjoying the time with the guys, getting to know them, getting on the same page with Matthew (Stafford), and just kind of gelling with the whole team right now,” Adams said on Tuesday, via the team’s official website. “It feels like I’ve been on this team for a couple years now, just based off of how open and receptive the guys have been to me.”
After his release by the Jets, McVay wooed Adams this offseason to provide another dynamic pass-catching weapon alongside Puka Nacua. All the reports out of Rams workouts this offseason suggest the 32-year-old wideout looks spry and is fitting in well.
“I feel like this is what I needed just based off the vibe and the aura of the building,” Adams said. “And everybody’s in a good mood. It’s not like a dark cloud over the building. And I’ve experienced that quite a bit over the last few years. So, it’s a glaring difference when you come into a building like this.”

“Sean McVay, known for his innovative coaching style, has once again demonstrated his strategic acumen with a bold decision regarding Aaron Rodgers. The seasoned coach, who has consistently pushed the boundaries of conventional football wisdom, is looking to harness Rodgers’ legendary skills in a way that complements the Rams’ dynamic play style. This move indicates McVay’s commitment to maintaining the Rams’ competitive edge, leveraging Rodgers’ experience and tactical prowess to potentially elevate the team’s performance to new heights.”
“What I think is really cool to be able to witness, is the respect that you can feel they have for one another.”
