Philadelphia is working to restock their front office talent.
The Philadelphia Eagles are hiring LSU director of player personnel Preston Tiffany, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
Tiffany, described by Zenitz as “one of the rising stars in the college personnel world,” is presumably joining the Eagles’ front office. His exact title is not currently known but the team is expected to officially announce front office changes sometime this month.
Tiffany has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance after attending South Carolina from 2016-2020. He then got his MBA from Ole Miss.
Here’s a snapshot of his football personnel experience:
2018-2020 — South Carolina undergraduate recruiting and player personnel assistant
2020-2021 — Ole Miss graduate recruiting and player personnel assistant
2021-2022 — Ole Miss recruiting and personnel assistant
2022-2023 — Ole Miss coordinator of personnel
2023-2024 — Ole Miss director of player personnel
2024-2025 — LSU director of player personnel
From Tiffany’s bio on LSU’s website:
Tiffany played a key role in acquiring talent that produced the best season in Ole Miss history in 2023 as the Rebels won a program-record 11 games, defeated Penn State in the Peach Bowl and finished the year ranked No. 9 in the nation.
The Eagles lost some key long-time front office executives earlier this offseason. We’ve been saying that it’s important for Howie Roseman to restock the pipeline and it appears that’s what he’s aiming to do with the Tiffany hire.
