Practice Report (6/10): Notes from the sideline | Giants.com
For the second straight day, the offense made a number of big plays. Russell Wilson and Jalin Hyatt continue to build their chemistry. Their first completion came on a patented Russell Wilson moon ball down the middle of the field. Hyatt got behind the cornerback and leapt to the make the catch. The second completion wasn’t as deep but perhaps more impressive, as the two connected on a perfectly timed back-shoulder throw down the right sideline. Wilson put the ball in the perfect spot and Hyatt waited until the last moment to turn his body and snatch the ball out of the air while getting both feet in-bounds. It was a very pretty play.

TDs, takeaways & top plays from OTA No. 8 | Giants.com
The Giants’ safety trio of Jevón Holland, Tyler Nubin and Dane Belton have led the way in the takeaways department thus far this spring. The group added another ball to the turnover treasure chest when Holland intercepted a pass during 7-on-7s and returned it the other way.
The second takeaway of the day came from a slightly more unexpected source. During 11-on-11 drills, defensive lineman Chauncey Golston batted the ball at the line of scrimmage, which he was able to tip to himself and pull down for an interception.
Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze and the 2024 WR Class Confidence Meter Entering 2025 | Bleacher Report
Malik Nabers, New York Giants Confidence Meter: 9.5.
Nabers won with route running, schematic advantages and explosiveness. He averaged 2.8 yards of separation per target. His creativity after the catch makes him special and provides an elite ceiling paired with explosive athleticism.
The Giants added three new quarterbacks this offseason. Veterans, Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, before trading back into the first round for Jaxson Dart. Nonetheless, the protocol doesn’t change. Feed Nabers as much as possible because he is the needle mover for this offense. He is the engine of the passing attack.

One reason for optimism for every team ahead of the 2025 NFL season | PFF
New York Giants: A potentially elite pass rush. Led by superstar defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and edge rushers Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux, the Giants ranked seventh in the NFL in PFF pass-rush grade. In addition to that excellent group, the team added Penn State’s Abdul Carter with the third-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Carter earned an elite 92.4 PFF pass-rush grade while accruing 66 pressures and 13 sacks last season. He and third-round pick Darius Alexander should bolster New York’s defensive line in a big way.
